With over 40 years experience in hotel recruitment, John is one of the most respected recruiters in the hotel sector. He has always enjoyed working in hospitality and recruitment has allowed him to develop close relationships with many different facets of the industry.
John completed an HND in hotel and catering management and then enjoyed a management career in hotels and restaurants for 10 years before progressing into hospitality management recruitment in 1984. John has worked for three leading management recruitment companies since then, focusing on hotels and developing a specific expertise in hotel general management recruitment.
In his spare time, John can be found on Tilford Green, with a straight bat and a keen eye for the boundary!
Derren has over 23 years’ experience in the UK hotel and restaurant recruitment sector. Initially focusing on senior culinary and food and beverage appointments and then in the last couple of years moving on to more senior management roles. With UK-wide General Managers, Group Finance Director, Property Manager, and even a Director of Wine amongst successful assignments. Passionate about hotels Derren research and resources each role extensively to find the best shortlist for his clients.
Previously to recruitment after gaining an HND in hotel and catering management, Derren spent 13 years working in professional kitchens and front of house management in hotel and catering establishments.
For the last 25 years Richard has worked in hospitality recruitment, specialising in management appointments within the UK hotel sector.
He has an in-depth knowledge of the hotel market and is passionate about the industry.
Richard’s expertise lies primarily within the London, South east and South west region, where he is particularly well known and focuses on key management appointments from General Management to HOD level.
Outside of work if he is not running after his boys, Richard is usually playing squash or cycling in the Hampshire countryside.
Anna has over 20 years recruitment experience. Anna started her career as a Chef; she spent three years at Westminster College in London, where she gained her 706/1, 706/2 and Professional Chef’s diploma.
Her first job was working as an apprentice Chef at the Savoy Hotel, London.
After travelling the world, Anna worked in recruitment for Adecco for seven years, in the UK and in Australia.
Anna then returned to her true passion – recruiting in hospitality. This is where Anna first had the misfortune to work with John, Derren and Richard! Anna specialises in recruiting Senior Chefs and Spa professionals.
When she is not being bored by the latest cricket and football results, Anna can be found fundraising for her favourite animal shelter or dabbling in resin artwork.
